Learn From a Master

Train With One of the Most Respected Violin Masters in the Industry

Richard Amoroso is not just a violin teacher—he is a world-class performing artist with decades of experience at the highest levels of classical music. Since 1998, Richard has been a violinist with the prestigious Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the most celebrated orchestras in the world. Before joining the Philadelphia Orchestra, he performed with Concerto Soloists (now the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia), Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, and served as a substitute violinist with the Orchestra.

Richard's extensive performance career has given him a deep understanding of what it takes to truly master the violin — not just the technical skills, but the artistry, discipline, and joy that come from a life dedicated to music. He created the Richard Amoroso Violin Studio because he believes that everyone — regardless of age or background — deserves access to world-class instruction. His teaching philosophy is rooted in clarity, patience, and a genuine love for helping students discover their own musical voice.

When you learn from Richard, you are not just learning from a teacher—you are learning from a master musician who has spent his life perfecting his craft and who is deeply committed to your success.

Your Questions, Answered

If you still have questions or need clarification, we are here to help. Below are the most common questions from prospective students.

Will I Be Charged During My Free Trial?

Absolutely not. Your first 7 days are completely free, with no strings attached.

You will not be charged unless you decide to continue after the trial period. You can cancel anytime — even on day 7 — and you will never see a charge.

We offer this risk-free trial because we’re confident you’ll love the clarity and quality of the lessons.

How Fast Will I See Progress?

Every student’s journey is different, and progress depends on how consistently you practice.

That said, our structured method is designed for rapid progress. With just 20–30 minutes a day, many members notice real improvement in comfort, tone, and confidence within the first month.

Some students even play their first recognizable melody within two weeks.

Can I Really Learn Violin from Online Videos?

Yes — and here’s why it works.

This is not a collection of random videos. It’s a professionally structured curriculum designed by a world-class violinist with decades of experience.

Lessons are filmed from multiple angles, with measure-by-measure breakdowns and guided play-alongs so you can pause, rewind, and practice at your own pace.

Plus, bi-weekly live classes provide real-time guidance and support.

Is This Membership Good for Complete Beginners?

Absolutely.

The Beginner Blueprint starts with the absolute fundamentals — how to hold the violin, how to hold the bow, and how to produce your first sound.

There is no assumption of prior knowledge. Many successful students started from zero.

What If I Need Help or Get Stuck?

You will never be left on your own.

You can ask questions during bi-weekly live group classes and receive real-time feedback.

Between classes, the private member community is active and supportive — most questions are answered quickly.

Do I Need Any Experience to Join?

No prior experience is required.

The lessons begin with the basics and progress step-by-step.

If you already have some experience, you can jump ahead to the level that fits you.

What If I Don’t Have a Violin Yet?

No problem.

Richard provides guidance on choosing a quality beginner violin within your budget.

A solid starter instrument can typically be found for $150–$300, and renting is also a great option.

Can I Download the Videos to Watch Offline?

Videos are streamed through the platform and are not available for download.

However, you can access them anytime, on any device, as long as you have an internet connection — ensuring you always see the most up-to-date lessons.
